Kelly Harris is a qualified youth worker who has been working with young people for over 20 years after being inspired by the youth workers who supported her as a vulnerable young person.

With a strong commitment to children’s rights and participation, Kelly understands and values the importance of youth work, and always tries to provide opportunities for young people to have a say.

Kelly has extensive experience of working with different groups of young people across Wales through her current and previous employment history in both the voluntary and statutory sector. Kelly currently works for Brook - a sexual health, wellbeing and relationships charity providing education for young people and professionals on a range of important topics. Before this, Kelly worked at the Welsh Parliament where she supported the establishment of the Welsh Youth Parliament.

Kelly is a Trustee for the National Youth Advocacy Service, a member of the Adult Advisory Panel for the Children’s Commissioner for Wales and an assessor for the Youth Work Quality Mark with the Education Workforce Council.
