Use this form to apply for a permit to fish for whelks (Buccinum undatum) with pots in the Welsh zone during the permit period 1 March 2024 to 28 February 2025.
Before you start
- you must be the owner or charterer of a fishing vessel licensed to fish in the UK
- you must complete an application form for each vessel you wish to fish
- you will need vessel details including fishing licence number
- a permit fee will be charged to cover the cost of administering. managing and monitoring the fishery
