Make a few small changes for free in your home to save energy:

  • switch your devices off standby
  • turn off the lights when not in use
  • wash your clothes at 30 degrees and reduce by 1 load a week
  • avoid using the tumble dryer and dry on clothes rack or outside in warmer weather
  • take a 4 minute shower
  • swap 1 bath a week for a shower
  • do not overfill the kettle
  • reduce your dishwasher use by 1 run a week
