The new UK House Price Index (UK HPI) is produced jointly by the Land Registry, Land and Property Services Northern Ireland, Office for National Statistics and Registers of Scotland. The UK HPI captures changes in the value of residential properties using sales data collected on residential housing transactions, whether for cash or with a mortgage.
