Pause of updates

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is in the process of transforming the Labour Force Survey (ONS) and associated Annual Population Survey (APS), the latter of which is the data source for this series of statistical releases.

Due to this and the recent release of Census 2021 data providing robust estimates of population characteristics, we have decided to pause updates to this series and will review once this transformation work has concluded.

An overview of sexual orientation in Wales in 2021 can be found in our Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity topic summary. Datasets can be accessed from the Nomis website. ONS has also published multivariate datasets combining sexual orientation with other characteristics (ONS) from Census 2021.
