Stepaside Community Primary School in Pembrokeshire applied to the Go and See Fund to take Dosbarth Cadno to the Egypt Centre at Swansea University. The pupils of Dosbarth Cadno, a high proportion of which are receiving Free School Meals were, at the time, studying the Ancient Egyptians.

The school took 19 Year 6 students to the Egypt Centre to handle artefacts and take part in practical music and drama workshops and then recreated artefacts in their Art and Design lessons, as well as creating films and animations based on the stories from the curators. The pupils were given the opportunity to handle artefacts, explore the exhibition, wear costumes, make a mummy and many other activities. Due to distance and cost, the experience would not have been possible without funding from the Go and See Fund.
