Mary Champion Non-Executive Member
Mary Champion has served as a Non-Executive Member of our board since October 2020.
Mary's initial career was in technology-based management consulting. She has wide-ranging experience of delivery, assurance, governance and commercial leadership, established with both government and private sector organisations.
Mary has delivered strategic IT programmes for a range of clients as well as managing an IT department for a global travel company.
Mary was Vice President at Capgemini. She was responsible for delivery of all technology programmes within the public sector. She worked with clients across a range of departments in both Welsh and UK Government.
Later, Mary worked as a board-level freelance consultant. She provided input and advice on delivery and governance. Most recently, she created and led the commercial management function for Royal London Platform Services.
Mary has held several non-executive directorships for government bodies. This includes for the Wales Audit Office and UK Intellectual Property Office.
She is currently an associate consultant with Campbell Tickell. She's primarily conducting governance reviews for public sector and third sector organisations.
