Thank you for your request to the Welsh Government for information under the Freedom of Information Act (2000) received on 12 January 2022 regarding travel tests.  You requested the following:

  1. How many Covid travel tests were sold and reported to DHSC in total each month across all private travel test providers, and
  2. How many test results were reported to DHSC (or UKHSA) in total each month across all private test providers?

Our Response

The Welsh Government does not hold information which is reported to the Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) by private test providers regarding the number of COVID-19 travel tests sold and the number of test results recorded.

This information can be obtained via the following link: Contact the Department of Health and Social Care | contactus.dh.gov.uk (dhsc.gov.uk).
