Thank you for your request to the Welsh Government for information under the Freedom of Information Act (2000) (FOIA) received on 29 June 2022 relating to end-of-life care. You have requested:

• How many staff do you have working on end-of-life care?

Response

Within Welsh Government, there are 3 staff members who support the end of life care agenda as part of their roles alongside a number of other major health conditions areas. Oversight and direction is also provided at Director level from the Deputy Chief Medical Officer.
