Today, the Welsh Government and Scottish Government have jointly published a set of amendments to the European Union (Withdrawal) Bill, and the First Minister of Scotland and I have written jointly to the Prime Minister, setting out our purpose in publishing these amendments. The amendments seek to correct the deficiencies in the Bill as they relate to devolution, and would if taken up enable the Welsh Government to consider recommending that the Assembly gives its consent to the Bill. I will make a full statement in Plenary this afternoon.
