We want your views on proposed changes to the cockle permit for the 2025 to 2026 season.
Consultation description
We want to amend the management of cockle fisheries in Wales. The proposals include:
- changes to the cockle permit fee
- introduction of daily catch limits
- standardisation of cockle sacks
- introduction of identification tags for the 2025-2026 cockle permitting season
