We are asking for your views on proposed changes to the way we manage the scallop fishery.
Consultation description
These include more flexible tools to manage king scallop (pecten maximus) stocks. This way we can adapt our response according to:
- stock health
- fishing activity
- methods or gears
- climate change
The deadline for responding to this consultation has been extended to 31 January 2026.
