Growing the forestry and timber sectors in Wales will:
- offer a wide range of green jobs,
- help us build more sustainable housing,
- boost our progress towards decarbonisation.
The strategy is structured under the following six priorities:
- Increasing timber supply
- Increasing resilience in our forests
- Resource efficiency and circular economy
- Instilling confidence in demand
- Developing sector capacity
- Underpinned by behaviour change

Woodknowledge Wales produced a series of relevant case studies under the Home-Grown Homes 2 project
