Agenda item 6: Social Partnership in Further and Higher Education
SPC Secretariat to provide a draft statement from the SPC on the importance of social partnership in the HE/FE sector for members consideration. Agreement would be needed by all members for it to be adopted.

Agenda item 5: update on the Working Group on Fair Work in Business
Grants SPC Secretariat to ensure a further update from the Fair Work in Business Grants Group is provided at the next SPC meeting.

Agenda item 4: The Skill Shift, preparing for an AI-driven economy
Welsh Government officials to progress the further work on AI suggested in paper (SPC06-04) taking into account members’ views.

The SPC Secretariat to explore options for holding the meeting on 8 October in North Wales.

Agenda item 4: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Workforce
The SPC Secretariat to develop options (in consultation with the WPC’s AI Working Group) for how the SPC might progress work on AI.

Agenda item 4: proposed approach to the provision of information and advice by the SPC to the Welsh Ministers
DMSP agreed to share all 56 social partnership reports from public bodies (when available) with the summary report for 2024/25 should SPC members wish to see them.

Agenda Item 6: The Socially Responsible Public Procurement provisions of the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act 2023
SH to consider how best to ensure that the SPC is kept up to date via technical briefings on procurement matters as well as the development of the Procurement Subgroup.

On-going: a paper has been tabled for June meeting (SPC 07-04. Papers to note were provided at the March meeting, as well as at the July and 30 September meetings last year. A technical briefing on procurement was held on 24 September.
