Overall, 87.9% of eligible children received a Healthy Child Wales contact in the quarter January to March 2025, this is an increase of 2.8% on the previous quarter continuing a long-term upward trend and is the highest quarter on record.

A higher percentage of eligible children received contacts than in the previous quarter for all 9 contact points, with all contact points except the 6 weeks contact setting new record highs.
The contact point at 3.5 years continued to increase this quarter to 81.5%, 3.4 percentage points up on the previous quarter, an increase of 11.5 percentage points on the same quarter last year, and 46.4 percentage points on the first quarter for which there is comparable data (October to December 2016).
