Today, the Welsh Government is launching new Anti-Slavery Wales Online Learning. These resources are designed to improve knowledge and awareness of modern slavery and effective ways of tackling it.
We are making the training freely available, in partnership with the Digital Learning Wales team, on the Learning@Wales platform. The learning consists of three engaging and user-friendly modules on:
- modern slavery in Wales,
- risks, signs and indicators, and
- how to effectively safeguard people who have experienced exploitation.
I am grateful to the Human Trafficking Foundation’s Lived Experience Advisory Panel and to the Welsh Government’s Anti-Slavery Wales Training and Awareness Group, who helped inform the resources.
As we mark Anti-Slavery Week and host the Anti-Slavery Wales 2025 conference, I encourage you to take a moment to explore this online learning.
