Written Statement: Welsh Revenue Authority Non-Executive Chair and Deputy Chair

I am issuing this Statement to inform members that the appointments of the Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA) Chair and Deputy Chair have been extended.

Ruth Glazzard’s appointment as Chair has been extended up to October 2026.

Jocelyn Davies’ appointment as Deputy Chair has been extended up to October 2027. 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ruth and Jocelyn for their continued contribution to the WRA Board. 

These decisions reflect the contribution of both individuals to the work of the WRA. They also provide stability at a point where a new Chief Executive Officer is to be appointed and the WRA takes on significant new responsibilities as a result of recent legislation passed by this Senedd.
