Introduction
To encourage sub-contracting and consortia collaboration we are publishing a Directory of suppliers who have indicated that they are interested in sharing their contact details for these purposes. The directory is being published as part of the summary of engagement for employability support, on: employability support programme: engagement events.
Suppliers not currently listed who are interested in collaborating and wish to have their contact details added to the Directory should email the Welsh Government at Employability Support: employabilitysupport@gov.wales.
Please provide the following information in your email:
- Contact name.
- Position held in organisation (if applicable).
- Contact email address.
- Organisation name and postal address (if applicable).

Supply chains
The Contract terms and conditions that apply to a lead Contractor including the terms concerning payments must be passed onto any sub-contractors.
The successful Bidder(s) must submit an annual report stating the steps the organisation has taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking within its supply chain.

Directory of suppliers interested in sub-contracting and (or) consortia collaboration privacy notice
In line with UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) This privacy notice explains how we collect, use, and process your personal data fairly, lawfully, and transparently.
Lawful basis for processing
The Welsh Government will be the data controller for any personal data you have provided in relation to the directory of suppliers interested in sub-contracting and (or) consortia collaboration.
The information will be processed as part of our public task and the official authority vested in us to undertake the core role and functions of the Welsh Government.
What personal data we will collect and process
Personal data is defined under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) as ‘any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified by reference to an identifier’.
For this Directory we will collect the following personal data:
- Contact name.
- Position held in organisation (if applicable).
- Contact email address.
- Organisation name and postal address (if applicable).
How we keep your data secure.
Personal data provided to Welsh Government is held on secure servers within the UK and for this Directory your personal data is stored in a restricted folder.
The Welsh Government has procedures to deal with any suspected data security breaches. If a suspected breach occurs, the Welsh Government will notify you and any applicable regulator where we are legally required to do so.
Who will have access to your data
The Welsh Government.
Support service teams and its system technical administrators who support the IT system. System technical administrators will not use your details in any way.
If you opt into your details being shared with other organisations in section 2 of this directory, then we will share your contact details with those who have also opted in. Your details may be published with a preliminary market engagement notice and (or) tender notice.
We may share your information with a fraud prevention agency for the purposes of fraud prevention and money laundering.
Your contact details may be used for research and evaluation purposes, including where Welsh Government commission an independent contractor for the purpose of evaluation of the scheme and (or) process.
Participation is completely voluntary. However, we really appreciate your participation since your views and experiences are important to inform organisational improvement. Please note that research organisations and evaluators may only contact a sample of individuals and (or) enterprises.
How long your details are kept for
Your personal data will be retained on secure Welsh Government IT in line with the Welsh Government retention policy after which time it will be securely destroyed. We may delete the information sooner if it is no longer being used.
Your individual rights
Under data protection legislation, you have the right:
- to be informed of the personal data Welsh Government holds about you and to access it
- to require us to rectify inaccuracies in that data
- to (in certain circumstances) object to or restrict processing
- for (in certain circumstances) your data to be ‘erased’
- to (in certain circumstances) data portability
- to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) who is our independent regulator for data protection.
