Luke Evans is celebrated for his exceptional achievements as an actor, singer, and advocate. Born in Pontypool and raised in Aberbargoed, Luke’s journey from the valleys of South Wales to global stardom embodies resilience, talent, and unwavering pride in his Welsh heritage.
From acclaimed performances in London’s West End to starring roles in international blockbusters such as The Hobbit trilogy, Dracula Untold, Beauty and the Beast, and Fast & Furious 6, he has captivated audiences worldwide. Luke is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ visibility and mental health awareness, using his platform to champion inclusivity and self-acceptance. His memoir, 'Boy from the Valleys', offers inspiration and hope, reflecting his authenticity and courage. Luke has also released two studio albums: At Last, and A Song For You. To celebrate his second album, he recorded a special homecoming concert, Luke Evans Showtime! at ICC Wales Newport.
