Details
Between now and 2040, we want to:
- make roads and pavements safer
- help drivers travel at the right speed
- teach people how to stay safe on roads
- make sure vehicles are safe
- enable emergency services to respond to collisions quickly
- improve the quality of care for anyone involved in a collision
This plan sets out how we will achieve this by working with partners including:
- emergency services
- highway authorities
- Corporate Joint Committees (CJCs)
- enforcement agencies
- commercial sector
- voluntary sector
