We want your views on allowing local authorities to issue pre-court community-based sanctions to tackle persistent fly-tippers.
Consultation description
We are asking for opinions on:
- introducing this power for local authorities
- how cautions could be enforced
- the impact on prosecutions
- implementation requirements, costs and savings
- which organisations would be best placed to supervise such activity
- any unintended consequences and alternative measures to deter fly-tipping.
