This Order will stop up an area of highway on School Lane, Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd, for the provision of a new 3-16 ‘all through’ school, demolition of some buildings and replacement and refurbishment of others, new staff car park, coach car park and pupil drop off, and associated works in accordance with planning permission granted under Part 3 of the 1990 Act by Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council on 1 August 2022 with reference 22/0425/08.
The stopping up of a length of the existing highway is considered necessary to facilitate this development.’
