Details
The Order is necessary in the interests of highway safety due to a new signalised crossing being installed on the A40 trunk road at the road known as Cartlett, Haverfordwest. The effect of the Order will be to extend the current 30 mph speed limit on the A40 trunk road between Salutation Square and Scotchwell Roundabouts by a further 70 metres north-eastwards. Reducing the speed of traffic approaching the crossing is necessary to improve visibility to the crossing area.
