Details

Currently there is a clearway Order along the trunk road, the A487 trunk road (Port Dinorwic by-Pass, Gwynedd) Order 1994 (S.I. 1994/795).  The proposed Order will revoke and replace S.I. 1994/795. This is to ensure there is a consistent application of the clearway prohibition and relevant exemptions along the adjoining lengths of trunk road.

The clearway prohibition will ensure free flowing traffic on the lengths on the A487 Fishguard to Bangor trunk road to maximise capacity of the route and to improve road safety.
