This report looks at views on public services, access to information on local authorities and services and satisfaction with services and facilities in the local area.

Main points

  • 77% of people are satisfied with their ability to access the services and facilities they need. 
  • 68% are satisfied that good services are available. Satisfaction with availability varies by settlement type.
  • 17% of people feel they are able to take part in making decisions about how local services are run.
  • 12% think that local people are asked their views before the local authority set its budget.
