Adding your accommodation details
Guidance on how to add your accommodation details when you're registering your visitor accommodation.

1. Add details about your premises
Your premises is the address of your accommodation. For example, the address of your holiday park with glamping pods and camping pitches.
We’ll ask you to add your premises’s:
- address
- name (such as Bryn Farm)
If you have more than one premises
You can add more premises and fill out the details.
2. Add details about your accommodation
Select the type of accommodation you offer on your premises, such as:
- your entire main home
- spare rooms in your home
- self-catering lets (such as cottages, houses, apartments, or lodges)
- hotel, bed and breakfast or guesthouse
- pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes, or campervans
- static caravans or mobile homes
- glamping (such as shepherd’s huts, yurts, pods or similar)
- hostel or bunkhouse
- other (such as bothies)
After you select the accommodation type, we’ll also ask to give the:
- when in the year your accommodation is open
- number of accommodation units, such as:
- 50 pitches
- 3 cottages
- 20 rooms
- 30 beds
- names of the units if they have them (such as Blossom Cottage)
- max number of people that can stay in total in the accommodation
If you have more than one accommodation type
You can add more accommodation types.
Example of adding your accommodation details as a hostel
Seren runs a hostel in Cardiff. Her hostel is only open in summer. Her guests can book beds to stay in shared rooms. She has 10 rooms. And each room has 6 beds.
Here’s how Serren would add her accommodation details:
- type: hostel or bunkhouse
- open for bookings: 4 to 6 months of the year
- number of units: 60 beds
- number of people: 60
3. Check details, save and finish your registration
Check the details are correct, save and finish your registration.
We’ll send you a confirmation email or letter with your registration number.
