Dear

ATISN 15940 – COVID Vaccination Data

Thank you for your request to the Welsh Government for information under the Freedom of Information Act (2000) received on 5 January 2022 regarding COVID vaccination data. I have interpreted your request as follows:

  1.  The number of people who have received the COVID-19 vaccine
  2.  The yellow card reporting system in place regarding the side effects.
  3. The amount paid per month to Pfizer, Moderna and other providers of COVID vaccines

Our response

On Q1, daily figures are published by Public Health Wales, on the number of people vaccinated, which are available here under the ‘vaccination’ tab: Rapid COVID-19 virology - Public (Tableau Public)

On Q2, individual information for the vaccines licensed for use in the UK can be found using the following link: https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/ and by navigating the ‘MEDICINE’ drop down box’.

The MHRA publishes a weekly report covering adverse reactions to approved COVID-19 vaccines for the UK as a whole. These reports can be found at Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines adverse reactions (GOV.UK)

On Q3, the Welsh Government does not hold this information. You may wish to contact the UK Department for Business and Industrial Strategy as they are responsible for managing COVID-19 vaccine contracts in the UK. Their contact details can be found below:
