Dear

ATISN 15950

Thank you for your request which I received on 11 January 2022. You asked for any information, guidance or advice provided to the Football Association of Wales, the FAW Trust or any associated body in relation to the return of children’s football whilst Wales is at Alert Level 2 and in any form or minutes or notes of meetings with the relevant organisations.

The information you requested is publically available and accessible via the link provided: Gyms, leisure centres, sports clubs, dance studios and other indoor sports facilities: potential reasonable measures action card (alert level 2)

The Coronavirus Control Plan

The Welsh Government provided information sessions with sports governing bodies, including the FAW and these sessions were there to circulate details on the new restrictions and provide any answers to questions regarding their implementation. There were no minutes to these sessions.

If you are dissatisfied with the Welsh Government’s handling of your request, you can ask for an internal review within 40 working days of the date of this response. Requests for an internal review should be addressed to the Welsh Government’s Freedom of Information Officer at:

Information Rights Unit
Welsh Government
Cathays Park
Cardiff
CF10 3NQ

or email: Freedom.ofinformation@gov.wales

Please remember to quote the ATISN reference number above.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:

Information Commissioner’s Office
Wycliffe House
Water Lane
Wilmslow
Cheshire
SK9 5AF

However, please note that the Commissioner will not normally investigate a complaint until it has been through our own internal review process.

Yours sincerely
