Dear

ATISN 16083

Thank you for your request which I received on 15 February 2022. You asked:

Please may you tell me how many £60 fines were issued to workers who went to work when they could've worked from home from December 2021 until the restriction was lifted?

Also, how many companies were fined under the rules, and how much were they fined?

Following a search of our records, I can inform you that the Welsh Government does not hold any information that falls within the scope of your request.

Individual compliance under the Regulations is enforced by Police Forces in Wales.

Business and employer compliance with the requirements under regulation 16 (to

undertake risk assessments and put in place reasonable measures) is enforced by Local Authorities.

If you are dissatisfied with the Welsh Government’s handling of your request, you can ask for an internal review within 40 working days of the date of this response. Requests for an internal review should be addressed to the Welsh Government’s Freedom of Information Officer at:

Information Rights Unit
Welsh Government
Cathays Park
Cardiff

or e-mail: Freedom.ofinformation@gov.wales

Please remember to quote the ATISN reference number above.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:

Wycliffe House
Water Lane

However, please note that the Commissioner will not normally investigate a complaint until it has been through our own internal review process.

Yours sincerely
