Information requested

Thank you for your request which I received on 7 March 2022.  You asked:

‘Can the Welsh Government provide the total amount of funding allocated from the £10 million empty homes grant scheme?’

Our response

In 2019 Phase 1 of the Valleys Taskforce Empty Homes Grant Scheme was launched with an allocated £10m budget. Phase 2 was launched in 2020 as per the press release: More than 500 applications to £10 million empty homes grant scheme.

This budget is fully committed and to date over 1,000 properties have been brought back into use.
