Thank you for your request which I received on 19 March 2022. You asked the following: 

I was recently told that more than 12 people had died from Covid in one 24 hour period in the Princess of Wales hospital Bridgend in the early stages of the pandemic. Is this true? 

The Welsh Government does not hold this information. However, this information may be available from Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. Their Freedom of Information email address is CTM.FreedomOfInformation@wales.nhs.uk
