This consultation covers: Building (Approved Inspector, etc.) Regulations 2010, Warranty Link Rule and amendments to the Approved Document supporting regulation 7 (Materials and workmanship).
Consultation description
The Building Regulations control certain types of building work and ensure that buildings meet certain standards for:
- health
- safety
- welfare
- convenience
- sustainability.
We propose to:
- make changes to the Building (Approved Inspector) Regulations 2010
- make amendments to the Approved Document supporting regulation 7
- remove the Warranty Link Rule.
