Item 1: Minutes of the previous meeting
1.1 The Board approved the minutes of the previous meeting.
Item 2: Progress update, including second homes
2.1 The Board noted the progress update, with the Leader of Plaid Cymru highlighting the work on childcare as a good example.
2.2 The Board was grateful for the paper summarising the second homes workstrands, which would have a cumulative impact. The Board agreed to return to this issue in depth at the next meeting.
Item 3: Welsh language
3.1 The Board agreed that the paper provided a useful summary of the current situation and that simultaneous interpretation would be arranged for the Co-operation Agreement Policy and Finance Committees. Oversight Board meetings and joint press conferences would proceed on the usual, bilingual basis.
Item 4: Senedd reform and Constitutional Commission
4.1 The Board discussed aligning timetables for the Senedd reform milestones and received an update on the Constitutional Commission’s recent and upcoming work.
