Reason for change:
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) will pause COVID-19 infection survey reporting and publications during week commencing 8 August. The pause for one week enables ONS to develop a digital series sufficient for quality assurance of trends despite observed data lags.
Therefore, there will be no update to the COVID-19 infection survey positiviy estimates on Friday 12 August. The next publication will be Friday 19 August resuming with a digital only sample.
