Agent’s customer details

Select Agent Home thenselect the CRN Details tab from the green bar on your homepage. Customer Details will be shown as the first option on the drop-down menu. Once selected you will be taken to the Customer Details section for the agency,  where you will see two tabs:

  1. General Details
  2. Addresses

General Details 

This tab displays the agency’s Trading Title, Primary Contact Name, and Preferred Language. These details can be updated by selecting the Update this information button.

 Addresses

Your correspondence address will be listed here. To update it, select the Update this information button.

Customer’s Customer Details

Select the CRN Details tab from the green bar on your customer’s homepage and choose Customer Details from the drop‑down menu. You must have permission from the customer’s administrator to Amend Business Details. Once the required permissions are in place, you will be taken to the Customer Details section, which contains three tabs:

  1. General details  
  2. Addresses
  3. Business Areas

General Details

This tab displays key business information for the customer, including the Trading Title, Primary Contact Name, Main CPH, and Preferred Language. For claimant customers, it also shows the Legal Status and the date the business was established. Where applicable, the Charity Registration Number and Company Registration Number will be shown.

These details must be kept up to date. If you have the appropriate permissions, select the Update this information tab next to the General Details heading to access the Updating General Details page. You can edit the available fields, but the greyed‑out boxes Main CPH Number, Date Business Formed, and Current Objective 1 Status cannot be amended.

After making your changes, select Save Changes to update the information. To exit without saving, select Cancel to return to the Customer Details page.

Addresses

There are three addresses listed for the customer:

  • Correspondence Address
    This is where all physical correspondence will be sent to
     
  • Premises Address
    This is the address where any business activity is undertaken
     
  • Trading Address
    This is the address the business operates from

Select the relevant address by choosing Update this information to open the corresponding address page.

The Trading Title field is locked and cannot be edited. The Postcode and Address fields are mandatory, as indicated by the asterisk. You may also add telephone numbers if required.

Please note: Telephone numbers entered here will not be used for RPW Online notifications. To provide notification details, go to Online Preferences under the CRN Details tab.

Once your updates are complete, select Save Changes to apply them. To exit without saving or to return to the Customer Details page, select Cancel.

Business Areas

Under the Business Areas tab, two sections are displayed: Business Areas and Agricultural Sectors. To update either section, you must have the permissions from your customer’s administrator in place either to Amend Business Details or Complete Applications and Claims. Select Update this information in the relevant area.

Business Areas

The Business Area will automatically be  populated with ‘Agricultural and Farm Woodland’ if the business is a Rural Payments Wales customer and has received payments. If the Agricultural and Farm Woodland option is not selected the  Agricultural Sectors page  will not be available.

You can add/remove categories by ticking the appropriate option box, you should select all categories relevant to your customer’s business, these are:

  • Agriculture and Farm Woodland
  • Flood Management
  • Forestry
  • Marine/ Aquaculture
  • Rural Development

Agricultural Sectors

This section is optional and collects information on the areas of your customer’s business that operate as commercial enterprises. The available options are:

  • Dairy
  • Beef
  • Sheep
  • Pigs 
  • Poultry
  • Arable
  • Horticulture
  • Goats
  • Woodland/Agroforestry
  • Grassland/Forage only (No animals)
  • Woodland (Commercial)
  • Beekeeping (Apiculture)
  • Camelids
  • Deer

Or, if the option  required is not available select Other.

Then select Save Changes to update the information.

The Business Area section is compulsory - at least one option must be selected.

The Agricultural Sector section is optional and the data is being collected for Sustainable Farming Scheme purposes only.
