It is important that schools and others can compare funding so as to inform debate about budget levels and such issues as the balance of funding between primary and secondary schools.
This is purely delegated or devolved budgets to schools at the beginning of the financial year and does not include any money held centrally by the local authority and spent on behalf of schools.
