We want your views on the decapitalisation rates for the 2021 non-domestic rates (also known as business rates) revaluation in Wales.
Consultation description
Decapitalisation rates are used in the calculation of the rateable value of certain properties. These properties would include schools, hospitals, and oil refineries.
We are consulting on:
- whether the decapitalisation rate should be prescribed in legislation
- which rates should be prescribed
- how the rate or rates should be calculated
