Designation of bathing waters: guidance

Following the amendments to the Bathing Water Regulations, the guidance and application forms have been updated. Please read the guidance carefully to assist you in completing your application accurately. 

Applications for a site to be considered for the 2027 bathing water season open on 1 May 2026 and close on 15 October 2026.
