Pipeline planning functionality
The pipeline planning functionality is now live on Sell2Wales. The functionality allows organisations to advertise their future procurement activity to buyers and suppliers. Our planned pilot will have limited users. If you are interested in being part of our pilot, please e-mail: ICTProcurement@gov.wales
Policy mapping tool
The policy mapping tool is designed to help buyers understand which policies need to be considered during their procurements. We are currently UAT testing the tool internally. Once testing is finished, we will run a pilot for limited users across the Welsh public sector. If you are interested in taking part in the pilot, please e-mail: ICTProcurement@gov.wales

Purchasing card
The purchasing card agreement has been extended until 31 March 2026. This agreement allows contracting bodies to call off purchasing card solutions from a supplier and continue to utilise their current purchase card arrangements.
Good news story: Tieva donate tablets to Cwmpas
Tieva, a supplier on our IT products and services (ITPS) (ii) framework, have recently donated 20 tablets to Cwmpas. Tieva and Cwmpas share the aim to lead Wales in digital transformation and ensure everyone can be online.
The Welsh Government are committed to delivery community benefit outcomes from its procurement activities. Tieva has embraced this commitment through a number of initiatives, including:
- Creating employment in Wales
- Supporting Latch, the Cardiff based children’s cancer charity
- Working with local suppliers
- Donating to foodbanks
- Donating headsets to schools
