We want your views on draft guidance that aims to increase the diversity and inclusion of candidates for Welsh elections.
Consultation description
We are aiming to make the Senedd and local government more diverse and representative of the people they serve.
We are consulting on draft guidance to support registered political parties in Wales to:
- develop, publish, implement and regularly review diversity and inclusion strategies for Welsh elections
- collect and publish diversity information about candidates for Senedd elections and elected Members
- consider steps they may take in relation to voluntary quotas for women
