We want your views on what priorities we will need to focus on in the draft dementia strategy for Wales 2026 to 2036.
Consultation description
Welsh Government is consulting on a new Dementia Strategy for Wales. This will replace the previous Dementia Action Plan (2018) and the companion document produced in 2021, based on the challenges faced during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
We have been clear that we intend to co-produce a new plan, and that we will take the time necessary to meaningfully engage partners and people with lived experience throughout. This document is therefore intended to provide the opportunity for people to have early engagement in the content of the document. The findings from which will inform our final strategy in 2026
