Pause of updates

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is in the process of transforming the Labour Force Survey (ONS) and associated Annual Population Survey (APS), the latter of which is the data source for this series of statistical releases.

Due to this and the recent release of Census 2021 data providing robust estimates of population characteristics, we have decided to pause updates to this series and will review once this transformation work has concluded.

Overviews of ethnic group, religion and disability for Wales from Census 2021 can be found in our topic summaries linked below

Ethnic group, national identity, language and religion in Wales (Census 2021)

Health, disability and provision of unpaid care in Wales (Census 2021)

ONS have published an overview of marital status for England and Wales from Census 2021. Data for Wales can be accessed from the Nomis website. ONS have also developed a “create a custom dataset” tool which allows custom datasets to be built from Census 2021 data, including ethnic group, disability, religion and marital status.
