The report looks at the background and policy context behind the SHC pilots before assessing the implementation of the pilots and the experience of customers using the Skills Health Check.
The report makes recommendations to inform the roll-out phase and build on the momentum of the pilots. The recommendations cover: operational and resourcing issues; data sharing between Job Centre Plus and Careers Wales; the use of ICT-based diagnostic tools; and, the future evaluation of the SHC.
