Gary Yeomans has a lifetime of farming experience.

In 2002, he established, with his wife Jess, a predominantly dairy goat herd at a 120-acre site near Abergavenny, where his grandparents had previously farmed cattle and sheep.

Gary and Jess also have a herd of spring calving Pedigree Welsh Black suckler cows. s well as rearing and milking around 600 goats to supply a local cheese factory, they sell breeding males and surplus youngstock for meat and dairy replacements.

The farm is also currently in the Welsh Government, whole-farm land management scheme, Glastir, and the Yeomans’ grow arable crops to feed their livestock.
