[Note 1] Eligible children includes children defined as receiving Flying Start services and not receiving Flying Start using their Flying Start postcode.
- Overall, 81.7% of eligible children received a Healthy Child Wales contact in January to March 2026, a decrease of 5.1 percentage points on the previous quarter.
- Only one of the nine contact points (at 6 weeks) saw an increase from the previous quarter in the percentage of eligible children receiving contacts.
There was strike action by health visitors beginning on 23 February 2026 in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. Data for January to March 2026 may have been affected.
