Saz Willey Vice-Chair
Saz Willey is a member of the Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales
Born in Wales, Saz obtained an economics degree and worked as an auditor before moving to Paris. Returning to Wales, she became an active volunteer, a carer and retrained in law. She worked as a CAB manager until 2013 managing Legal Aid and Welsh Government contracts, developing new services and campaigning to improve policy and practice.
Saz is the chair of Care & Repair Cymru and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
A POBL non-executive for five years, Saz was vice-chair of the Group’s Audit and Risk Committee and a POBL Trust trustee.
She was also a Vale Local Health Board non-executive and audit committee member for six years and a licensed PQASSO mentor.
