Joint UK Fisheries Management Plans (FMPs) for pelagic stocks

We are asking for opinions on: 

• joint UK fisheries management plans for pelagic fish stocks to be published in 2026
• the Regulatory Impact Assessment, and 
• the environmental report on the FMPs 

This is a joint consultation between the Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish and UK governments.

Under the Fisheries Act 2020 (on gov.uk), the four UK fisheries policy authorities published a Joint Fisheries Statement. This statement includes a list of FMPs to be published over a 6-year period.
