Kathryn Warren: Non-Executive Board Member

Born and raised in the valleys of South Wales, Kathryn has a strong personal connection to the region’s industrial heritage and communities.

An engineer by background, Kathryn built a distinguished 20-year career in environmental consultancy, specialising in renewable energy, waste and resources management and sustainability. Kathryn has a proven track record in delivering complex programmes and leading multidisciplinary teams, having directed large regulatory audit and compliance programmes on behalf of UK government. 

Now focussed on governance and strategic roles, Kathryn combines a technical background and strong analytical skills with robust stakeholder engagement and leadership.  Kathryn is a Non-Executive Director of Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community CIC, the largest wind farm community benefit fund in England and Wales. Kathryn is also a trustee of Awen Cultural Trust and Chair of Sustainable Wales.
