Details
As part of the Metro Station Improvement Program (MSIP) we are improving facilities to make it easier and safer to use public transport.
Improvements made at the station include:
- a new ticket office
- new enclosed waiting shelters
- improved bike shelters
- refurbishment of existing car park
- extra lighting, CCTV and replacement of existing boundary fencing to improve passenger safety
- providing funding towards the refurbishment of the existing canopy shelter
Current progress
Work completed in autumn 2018.
The scheme has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government.
