Series information:
13% of people in Wales were lonely in April 2022 to March 2023.
People who are lonely are more likely to have one or more of the following characteristics:
- be part of a minority ethnic group
- be in bad general health
- have a mental illness
- have help from social care services
- be in material deprivation
- live in a single (non-pensioner) adult household
